About Me

I recently completed my PhD in Entomology at Penn State University where I studied the effects of mycorrhizae on plant-herbivore interactions. Prior to that, I attended Michigan State University where I earned my MSc in Entomology researching how herbivores from different feeding guilds interact through plant chemistry. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher through the ORISE program at the US Department of Agrictulture Vegetable Lab in Charleston, SC where I am studying the chemical ecology of sweet-potato whiteflies. When I'm not hanging out with bugs in the lab, you can find me hiking, rock climbing, and spending time with my family.
